Seed of Abraham Dance Ministry
Allen Chapel
History
The “Seed” was planted in the year 2000, starting with one man whom God called. After much prayer, the Lord sent more men and we first ministered to the song, “My Life is In Your Hands”, at Allen Chapel’s Sunday morning service.
Since that time we are blessed to have ministered at various events, nursing homes and churches, under the leadership of our pastor, Michael E. Bell Sr.
The Seed of Abraham (men) is one “branch” of the entire dance ministry at Allen Chapel called the Trees of Righteousness. The other branches consist of “Beauty for Ashes”, (women), “Praise in Zion”, (young adults) and the “Oil of Joy”, (youth).
As a men’s dance ministry we understand the higher calling the Lord has placed upon our lives. We fully embrace the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices required to be the men and leaders God has called us to be as we minister in dance, tools used for His glory.
To that end, we have adopted our name from Galatians 3:29, “And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise”.
